Edition 03 of romeo’s gin, call for entries to visual artists!

While Montreal is celebrating its 375th anniversary today, we had to emphasize it a bit on the blog, so we are talking about romeo’s gin, which is partnering with the Papier Art Fair to announce a contest across the province of Quebec to find the next artwork that will be showcased on its edition 03 of romeo’s gin, whose launch is planned in autumn 2017!

The contest to find the artwork to be showcased on the edition 03 of romeo’s gin

First, this contest is open to all visual artists from quebec and takes place from April 21 to June 4, 2017. As it is in connection with the festivities of the 375th anniversary of Montreal, the various works submitted must be inspired by the theme “Celebrating Montréal and its multiple faces “, and must exist in a single copy at the end of the competition. It may be an existing work or specially created for the occasion.

To participate, nothing is easier, you artists are invited to fill a form on the site of romeo’s gin at  romeosgin.com/concours375

Selection of the winning artwork to be showcased on the edition 03 of romeo’s gin

The winning work will be selected by a jury, and a section of the vote will be reserved for the public. The public will be able to vote in two ways, with scores to be combined: online on the various romeo’s gin social networks, and in the romeo’s gin section of the Mural Art Fair, which will take place from 8 to 11 June at the Market Bonsecours as part of the Mural Festival, which will take place on St-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal (you will hear more about it) from June 8 to 18.

The prize!

The winning work will be bought from the artist at his price, and will dress the third edition of romeo’s gin. In addition, the selected artist will receive prizes from the romeo’s gin team and our partners, you will find details on the website mentioned above. A contest organized thanks to the contribution of the Paper Fair and the W Montreal Hotel, all of which radiate Montreal’s urban art well beyond the city that inspired it.
