Campari, Italy’s iconic red aperitif, team up with Imbibe magazine to present Negroni Week, celebrating the iconic Negroni cocktail – a perfect blend of Campari, gin and red vermouth (find the recipe here<\/a>). For seven days, hundreds of places on the planet celebrate the Negroni cocktail, which dates back more than 100 years. In 2025, The Negroni Week is celebrating its 13 years!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the modern cocktail movement continuing to grow, the annual event has grown every year. Starting with 100 participating bars in 2013, this week has grown to approximately 120 participating venues to thousands of venues around the world, and to date, the initiative has raised over $5 million for charitable organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year marks the 13-year anniversary of the event, and in 2022, and in an effort to transform the event giving in a way that allows the initiative to have the biggest impact possible in the most sustainable way possible, the event announced that it will continue with a single global nonprofit partner: Slow Food<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Slow Food Negroni Week Fund will contribute directly to Slow Food’s international projects, while supporting the hospitality community, preserving cultural and biological diversity, and promoting food and drink education through knowledge exchange. With the growing challenges facing the hospitality world, their work is more essential than ever. This year, 2025, marks not only the 13th edition of Negroni Week, but confirm the rise of the Negroni to the status of the world’s best-selling cocktail. What a way to celebrate an anniversary that is all the more remarkable! Negroni, a cocktail that inspires passion for change, is the perfect drink to raise a glass to such an important cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than $630,000 were collected during the Negroni Week 2024 with over 7,000 donations Over 12,000 venues in 79 countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to participate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Here’s how your bar \/ venue can participate<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create a Negroni Week Account<\/strong>
    Add your venue’s information to be included on the official Negroni Week map so that Negroni enthusiasts can easily find you.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Make a donation<\/strong>
    To complete your registration, make a donation to support the mission of Slow Food to cultivate a more sustainable and equitable world of food and beverage. Once you’ve added your venue’s information and made your donation, you’re registered!

  3. Serve a classic Negroni or variation<\/strong>
    During Negroni Week, celebrate by featuring the classic or your favorite variation(s) all week long.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The other essential ingredients of the famous cocktail, Bulldog Gin and Cinzano Red Vermouth, are the essential ingredients of Negroni Week, which form the ideal line-up for all Negroni. Since 2023, the official American Gin is the Aviation Gin (yes this is the gin of Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds) (maybe not for 2025 for the Canadian part)! Also, the official Vermouth is Cinzano and Bulldog Gin is also one of the sponsor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Negroni Week, how does it work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Negroni Week is a charity program that puts the power of fundraising in the hands of participating mixologists, their bars and Negroni drinkers around the world. Participating sites will donate a portion of Negroni cocktail sales and related items to more than 40 charities, so why not say “applauding charity” and tasting cocktails like no other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The 2025 Negroni Week is happening from September 22 to 28. In Montr\u00e9al, this will certainly happen in the most Italian place you can find, Gino’s Negroni & Lasagna<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
