Hendrick\u2019s Master Distiller Mrs. Lesley Gracie firmly believes that her singular collection of botanicals at the Hendrick\u2019s Gin Palace in Girvan, Scotland, take on entirely different sensory characteristics under the influence of moonlight. \u201cIn the still of the night, you can get all sorts of smells, there are certain flowers that only release their scent under the light of the moon. There is a peculiar sensory attachment to scents at night,\u201d said Ms. Gracie. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One moonlit evening, whilst tending to the botanicals in her beloved hothouse, she was inspired to bottle the cosmic sensation of being at peace with nature under the moon and stars \u2013 thus creating Lunar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new bottle retains the distinctive Hendrick\u2019s shape, evocative of Victorian apothecary jars. The label colouring is a sophisticated, deep blue reflective of the night sky and includes curious celestial imagery that conjures a feeling of drinking a cocktail under a moonlit sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
