Here is the cocktail of the week: &nbsp;the Autumn Leaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Autumn Leaves Cocktail<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image size-full wp-image-45907\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/gentologie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Autumn-Leaves-Cocktail.jpg\" alt=\"Autumn-Leaves-Cocktail\" class=\"wp-image-45907\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gentologie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Autumn-Leaves-Cocktail.jpg 600w, https:\/\/gentologie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Autumn-Leaves-Cocktail-200x267.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo: Normand Boulanger | Gentologie<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was on an early weekday evening as the sun was setting that I got the idea to make this cocktail. Craving whisky, but not wanting something too strong, I decided to lengthen this delicious cocktail with <a href=\"https:\/\/gentologie.com\/en\/fine-dining\/fever-tree\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fever-Tree<\/a> Ginger Beer. It also has some Aperol Spritz inspirations with its Aperol and orange decoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients (Feel free to double the quantities for a stronger cocktail)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 oz of <a href=\"https:\/\/gentologie.com\/en\/fine-dining\/whisky-or-whiskey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">whisky<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/johnbarrwhisky.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I used John Barr Blended Scotch Whisky<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd oz of Aperol Spritz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd oz of Lillet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2-3 dashes of caramel syrup by Monin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fever-Tree orange spiced ginger beer (to top)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One orange wedge for garnish (Optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method to make the Autumn Leaves<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pour all ingredients (except Fever-Tree) into a cocktail shaker with ice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shake vigorously for 30 seconds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour into a chilled highball glass with a long rectangular piece of clear ice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Top up with the Fever-Tree Spiced Orange Ginger Beer to taste.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t hesitate to change the whisky for a different combination, you will bring this cocktail to a whole new world. Also, the spicy orange ginger beer is very interesting in this cocktail, it goes very well with the orange decoration and is a great complement to the taste. This cocktail of the week, the autumn leaves is perfect to start or to end the season as it will warm you up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can find more delicious suggestions of
