The 25th edition of Montreal Montr\u00e9al en Lumi\u00e8re, presented by Loto-Qu\u00e9bec in collaboration with Scotiabank, will take place from February 29 to March 10, 2024. On the other hand, the MICHELIN-starred chefs will be arriving on February 22, just over a month from now. It\u2019s a chance to celebrate the north, gastronomy and winter fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presented by Scotia Wealth Management, the gourmet programme will run from February 22 to March 10. As well as paying tribute to the featured themes, countries and regions, some of the chefs who have taken part in previous events will be inviting us to discover some delicious dishes, each more magnificent than the last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 25 international chefs and winemakers will be showcased in more than 50 restaurants across the Qu\u00e9bec Metropolis of Gastronomy. In keeping with the spirit of looking to the future, this year\u2019s event will focus on sustainable gastronomy, which has spearheaded culinary innovation in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past 24 years, more than 100 MICHELIN-starred chefs have been welcomed by more than 225 restaurants, introducing them to the wonders of Quebec gastronomy. For this edition celebrating the quarter-century of Montreal en Lumi\u00e8re, a myriad of stellar chefs will be shining in the kitchens of Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s gastronomic capital, including Emmanuel Pilon (three MICHELIN stars, Le Louis XV\u2014Alain Ducasse in Monaco), who will be inviting himself to the delicious Mastard with Simon Mathys (whom I was lucky enough to try out this year), and Julien Royer (three MICHELIN stars), the first chef from Singapore to travel to the festival, will be dropping in at the delicious Monarque brasserie in Old Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still orbiting the planet of Montr\u00e9al, no fewer than eight chefs have been awarded a MICHELIN Green Star for their commitment to eco-responsible gastronomy, including Glenn Viel (three stars and one green star) who will be hosted at Maison Boulud by the great Daniel Boulud, Caterina Ceraudo (one star and one green star) will be at Restaurant Graziella, Christian T\u00eatedoie (one star and one green star) will be at the magnificent Europea by J\u00e9r\u00f4me Ferrer, and Ed Tejada & Ryan Walker (one green star for Silo in London, the world\u2019s first zero-waste restaurant) will be taking over the kitchens at the magnificent O\u2019Thym.<\/p>\n\n\n

And let\u2019s not forget the stars of the galaxy who will be lighting up this 25th edition. Matthias Marc, recent semi-finalists in the reality TV show Top Chef France from the restaurant Substance (one MICHELIN star) in Paris, and Adrien Cachot, recent finalists in Top Chef France, will be at Le Mon\u00e8me with Florimond Hannoteau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For fans of our national sport, the Bell Centre\u2019s Mythik restaurant will be welcoming renowned Newfoundland chef Jeremy Charles for two evenings, including one game night! Finally, the ITHQ, whose hotel recently reopened its doors, and which has been present at the winter showpiece for over 20 years, will be honoured by the presence of Aboriginal chef Maxime Lizotte, from the Wolastoqiyik Wahsepekuk nation, for 2 evenings under the Scotiabank banner. And let\u2019s not forget the 90th anniversary dinner of Air France<\/a> at the ITHQ, with chef Olivier Perret from the Renoir at the Sofitel Montr\u00e9al<\/a>, and the 25 years of 25 services gourmet evenings, presented by Polestar<\/a>, a celebration that is sure to be incredible, in the setting of the historic Maison Alcan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
