This recipe of fridge cookies&nbsp;is a tradition of my youth, it is a dessert made by my paternal grandmother, who sadly passed away few&nbsp;years ago, transmitted to my mother, and I allow myself to transmit it to you in my turn. I hope you like it, it&#8217;s a real delight for the sweet teeth above us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Fridge Cookies: A Classic ChristmasRecipe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This recipe is very easy, so take the time and try it.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/gentologie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Fridge-cookies-pile.jpg\" alt=\"Fridge cookies - pile\" class=\"wp-image-24925\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gentologie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Fridge-cookies-pile.jpg 500w, https:\/\/gentologie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Fridge-cookies-pile-200x200.jpg 200w, https:\/\/gentologie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Fridge-cookies-pile-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/gentologie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Fridge-cookies-pile-114x114.jpg 114w, https:\/\/gentologie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Fridge-cookies-pile-170x170.jpg 170w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Ingredients for the fridge cookies recipe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 cup butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd cup brown sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd cup sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cups flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd tablespoon of soda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc teaspoon salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon vanilla<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc cup drained green maraschino cherries *<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc cup drained red maraschino cherries *<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Preparation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cream butter in medium-sized hen bowl<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix with sugar, brown sugar and egg until soft biscuit dough<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add and mix flour, soda and salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the cherries and mix by hand to distribute them well<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make two rolls in waxed paper and refrigerate for about an hour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat oven to 375 \u2103<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut into half-centimeter slices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put on a plate covered with waxed paper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat for 10 minutes and enjoy<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* The cherries of the fridge cookies can be replaced by almonds or coconut to vary the recipes, it will taste different but will also be very good. You can also try the Maraschino cherries from Luxardo, available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.distributionfavuzzi.com\/en\/product\/honey-jams-jellies\/maraschino-cherries-lx01\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Favuzzi<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a little delight that will certainly make people happy for the people who will receive them (and maybe you too and your sweet tooth).
