Welcome to this new version of Prasino. After four issues sent out via newsletter, your bimonthly rendezvous now also has a place directly on Gentologie\u2014a richer, more visual format, still reserved exclusively for you, members of the Gentologie Club. Nothing has changed in terms of content: a personal curation of what deserves your attention. We\u2019ll meet here once a month\u2014next issue in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are weeks when everything seems to converge on the same idea. In Prasino No. 05, it\u2019s the idea of heritage that refuses to stand still. Tissot opens its doors in Montreal, while Lem\u00e9ac celebrates its 25th anniversary by bringing back its first chefs. Martin Picard and Normand Laprise go to the kitchens of a place that cherishes them. Ferrari entrusts the interior of its first electric car to Jony Ive\u2014the same gesture Enzo would have made, seeking out the best craftsman of his time. And Audi Canada makes a decision: yes to the RS 5 Sedan, no to the RS 5 Avant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After returning from Andorra, where I was among the first to stay at Casa Serras, I noticed the same trend in the hotel industry: the ones that make an immediate impact are the ones that know exactly what they want to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audi has just unveiled its all-new RS5\u2014a historic turning point for Audi Sport: it is the first RS model to feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain, commonly known as a PHEV. Unfortunately, only the Sedan will be available in Canada, while the Avant will be offered in Europe. It should be noted that the much-loved two-door coupe has been discontinued for good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear gentlemen travellers<\/a>, we are delighted to announce that Air Canada has announced the next phase of its Fleet Modernization Program with the addition of the Airbus A350-1000 widebody aircraft. These aircraft, which can carry between 350 and 400 passengers, will be delivered starting in the second half of 2030. In addition, Air Canada has purchase options for eight more A350-1000s. According to Airbus, passengers will enjoy the quietest interior space ever seen. Indeed, this cabin, which will be pressurized at an altitude of only 1830 metres (6,000 feet), will significantly reduce body tension and minimize homesickness. This will also ensure a much more pleasant flight experience. The recent acquisitions will benefit from the latest innovations in in-flight entertainment and connectivity, as well as Air Canada\u2019s brand-new cabin standards, which are expected to be implemented in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferrari has unveiled a portion of the interior of its first electric car, the Luce. The interior was designed in collaboration with Jony Ive, Apple\u2019s former chief designer.It\u2019s not necessarily the interior style we\u2019ve come to expect from Ferrari, as integration seems to have been left out in favour of an iPad-style screen in the middle of the cabin. Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at the new Casa Serras hotel, located in the Principality of Andorra. This hotel exemplifies the fusion of wellness and luxury, and I was there for a skiing trip. Every detail, from the beds to the sofas, has been meticulously designed. Furthermore, the hotel is home to the latest location of the Fismuler restaurant, whose Madrid establishment is recognized by the Michelin Guide. A full article will be published soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renowned local and international chefs will prepare exquisite dishes at the city\u2019s finest restaurants, delighting guests with their culinary artistry. The Lunar New Year is one of the most important and festive celebrations in various Asian cultures. Unlike the Gregorian calendar, its date is determined according to the lunar calendar, which means it varies each year, generally falling between late January and mid-February. Each year is associated with one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac. For the year 2026, the associated animal is the seventh in the Chinese zodiac, the Fire Horse. To mark the occasion, Johnnie Walker is launching a limited edition Blue Label in collaboration with Robert Wun, a Hong Kong-born designer based in London. This edition features a label that is as sophisticated as its contents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for its contents, each bottle contains the extremely rare, exceptional, and refined Johnnie Walker Blue Label, made from some of the rarest whiskies in the brand\u2019s unrivalled reserves. Only one barrel in 10,000 is selected. Montr\u00e9al En Lumi\u00e8re confirms its gastronomic ambition. Patrice Demers from Michelin-starred restaurant Sabayon<\/a> and Stelio Perombelon are creating a special menu for Lem\u00e9ac\u2019s 25th anniversary, the restaurant where they began their careers as chefs. On February 24, Martin Picard, an iconic chef and mentor to an entire generation, will be in the spotlight. Known for his bold, unapologetic, and generous approach to cuisine, he will revisit the spirit of the 1998 Club des pins, offering guests an experience full of nostalgia and delight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 3, it will be Normand Laprise\u2019s turn to take the reins. A key figure in Montr\u00e9al\u2019s culinary scene of the 1990s, notably with his restaurant Citrus, he will present a five-course menu evoking that legendary era, where modernity and creativity met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
