Also, if you make a reservation, please honour it \u2014 penalties can now be imposed for no-shows!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new Qu\u00e9bec selection, as we mentioned <a href=\"https:\/\/gentologie.com\/en\/fine-dining\/restaurants-and-bars\/michelin-guide-quebec\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"55216\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in this article<\/a>, will not deviate from the rule. It follows the historic methodology of the <a href=\"https:\/\/guide.michelin.com\/ca\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MICHELIN Guide<\/a>, based on five universal criteria that ensure each establishment is evaluated fairly: 1) quality of ingredients; 2) harmony of flavours; 3) mastery of technique; 4) the chef&#8217;s personality and voice expressed through their cuisine; 5) consistency across visits and throughout the menu. It is worth noting that each establishment is inspected several times per year, confidentially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>The Recipient Restaurants of the 2026 Michelin Guide Qu\u00e9bec<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on the quality of their offering, establishments receive one, two, or three MICHELIN Stars (in France, these are referred to as Macarons). It celebrates those most committed to eco-responsible gastronomy and their concrete initiatives. From sourcing awareness to respect for seasonality, waste management, and the capacity of restaurant teams to engage their guests in the establishment&#8217;s sustainable approach \u2014 these initiatives can take many forms, depending on the challenges and resources specific to each restaurant. There is therefore no set formula or fixed criteria.
