Genesis Scottish Open

Genesis is the proud title sponsor of one of Europe’s premier golf events, the Genesis Scottish Open, which the Gentologie team was able to attend and drive vehicles in 2023 thanks to an invitation from South Korea’s luxury car brand. Held at the renowned Renaissance Club on the outskirts of Edinburgh, the tournament takes place on a spectacular course set in 300 acres of idyllic countryside along the Firth of Forth on Scotland’s famous golfing coast. Genesis Championship

The Genesis Championship is a men’s professional golf tournament in South Korea. The event takes place at the beautiful Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon, South Korea. The first edition was held from 21 to 24 September 2017. The winner earns automatic entry to the CJ Cup and the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational.

Genesis and golf: Official Automobile Sponsor of the 2024 Presidents Cup

Earlier this summer, Genesis Canada announced an agreement with the Presidents Cup to enhance its existing partnership for the 2024 season. The Official Automobile Sponsor has been named the Title Partner of the Genesis Club, a premium hospitality venue that will be set up on site when the event returns to the Royal Montreal Golf Club from September 24 to 29, 2024.

Genesis became the Official Automobile Sponsor of the Presidents Cup, which commenced at the 2022 playing at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, followed by Montreal in 2024, and 2026, at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois.

Genesis will, of course, provide the brand’s tournament vehicles, including the brand new GV80 Coupe, for captains Mike Weir and Jim Furyk and their teams, staff and volunteers, the agreement has been elevated to include the Title Partnership of the Genesis Club. The Genesis Club will offer an upscale, air-conditioned venue with an open-air bar and breathtaking views of the 15th and 16th holes, two of the most exciting holes in the Presidents Cup format. Offering guests locally and internationally inspired cuisine alongside premium beverages, the venue will feature broadcast coverage, interactive games, mobile phone charging points and more.

The newest addition to the Genesis vehicle lineup, it is also the first vehicle in Canada to offer the landmark Seasonal Care Plan, which provides complimentary winter tires and wheels, including service and storage for five years.
