Our editorial team discovered an exceptional item from Jack Black that, regrettably, is unavailable on their Canadian website, but can be purchased in the United States. This innovative, weightless sunscreen has been specifically crafted with male users in mind. Its effortless application requires no messy residue, nor does it burden the skin. Boasting an impressive Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 45, it effectively shields against harmful UV rays, remaining stable even during strenuous activities such as sports or water activities. Additionally, unlike traditional sunscreens, this one’s SPF stays consistent, ensuring continued protection throughout your day. This product is fragrance-free and dye-free, and it is also dermatologist-approved. Additionally, its compact format makes it ideal for travel.

[spacer height=”20px”]

Starting on November 29, 2024, and continuing until April 27, 2025, renowned French-Albanian artist Anri Sala will grace the Contemporary Art Square of Montréal’s preeminent museum with a breathtaking video installation.

[spacer height= “20px”]

Ravel Ravel Interval (2017), a Canadian debut, is a reinterpretation of the 2013 work Ravel Ravel, which the artist presented at the 55th Venice Biennale when the artist represented France.

[spacer height= “20px”]

This mesmerizing exhibition, graciously gifted to the museum by Pierre Bourgie, showcases two awe-inspiring, nearly concurrent renditions of Maurice Ravel’s Concerto for the Left Hand in D Major (1875–1937).

[spacer height= “20px”]

The musical composition, dating back to 1929–1930, was specifically designed for pianist Paul Wittgenstein, who lost his right arm during World War I. For this rendition, the conductor highlights only the left-hand skills of Montréal’s Louis Lortie and France’s Jean-Efflam Bavouzet. With an unseen orchestra providing accompaniment, these virtuosos delicately modify their performances. First they play together, then they diverge, finally reconnecting, drifting apart and coming together once more.
