OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond and Spectre: Which Side Will You Choose?
Discover OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300m James Bond and Spectre Editions to mark World James Bond Day 2026 and Casino Royale 20th anniversary.
Published on | 6 minutes of readingIt’s no secret: James Bond has been wearing OMEGA’s famous Seamaster Diver 300M for more than 30 years, and as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Casino Royale this year, remember that Vesper Lynd, on the train, asked Bond what watch he was wearing. So, to celebrate James Bond Day this October 5, OMEGA is unveiling not one but two Seamaster Diver 300M watches, the first a tribute to James Bond and the other to Spectre, the organization behind many of Bond’s troubles, to put it politely.
James Bond or Spectre?
Two watches, two universes that meet. One cannot live without the other. That is, in fact, exactly what OMEGA’s President & CEO Raynald Aeschlimann affirms (read our interview with him here): “We are extremely proud of this collection. OMEGA has been the watch of James Bond for more than thirty years, and this is the first time we have brought James Bond and Spectre together in a collection. Both belong to the same story, and our customers have always known both sides of it. Now they can wear both.”
The Collection
The collection consists of six 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M models, powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8806.
Two stainless steel models are offered separately, one dedicated to James Bond and the other to Spectre, as I mentioned above. They are accompanied by two limited-edition sets, one for each name, each combining a stainless steel watch and a platinum-gold model. Each watch bears its emblem on the rotor. Behind the sapphire crystal caseback, discover engravings aligned thanks to the NAIAD LOCK system: a motif depicting the famous 007 logo, made up of a gun barrel, on the James Bond models, and the Spectre logo on the Spectre models.
Let’s explore each of these pieces together.

Bond is defined by his sense of duty, discipline and loyalty, especially to the British Crown. As 007, he acts in the service of a cause greater than himself. The James Bond Edition (ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004) features a grade 5 titanium bezel ring and a blue aluminum dial adorned with a laser-engraved wave pattern, reminiscent of the model seen in Casino Royale. In the dark, the dot and the minute hand glow green, while the hour and seconds hands and the indexes glow blue. Its classic satin-finish Milanese bracelet, also found on the Spectre, will make it a classic.

Spectre, the organization, embodies a different set of instincts: independence, self-interest and the freedom to act without the same constraints. The Spectre Edition (ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023) features a black ceramic bezel ring and a blackened grained-finish dial, and comes on a satin-finish stainless steel Milanese bracelet. This watch is also powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement 8806, certified by METAS. The dial indicates only one thing, the time, and keeps the emblem for the caseback. In the dark, the dot on the bezel and the minute hand glow green, while the hour and seconds hands and the indexes glow blue.
The Limited Editions

The collection includes two limited-edition sets. As you’ve surely guessed, one is dedicated to James Bond and the other to Spectre, each limited to 77 numbered pieces. Each set contains a stainless steel model on a brushed mesh bracelet and a platinum-gold model on a leather strap. They are not sold separately.
The stainless steel model bears its individual limited-edition number on a plate located at 9 o’clock. On all four watches, the caseback is polished-brushed, features OMEGA’s wave-edged design and is secured by the Naiad Lock system.
On the platinum-gold models, the bezel ring is polished ceramic, while the diving scale is platinum and the dial is 18K white gold with a PVD gradient: blue with the “ 007 gun barrel” logo for James Bond (ref. 210.83.42.20.03.001) and dark grey with an octopus for Spectre (ref. 210.83.42.20.01.001). On both models, the emblem on the rotor is crafted in 18K Moonshine™ Gold.
The Presentation Box

Each limited-edition set comes in a unique presentation box containing an additional NATO strap and a strap-changing tool, cufflinks, a cord bracelet, a loupe, a leather travel pouch and a card holder, along with a certificate of authenticity. The perfect secret agent’s kit, really.
In the James Bond set, the strap keepers are engraved with the number 007, and the travel pouch is blue. In the Spectre box, the strap keepers bear the Spectre emblem, the cufflinks and the cord bracelet match the Spectre theme, and the travel pouch is black.
