Humaniti Hotel h3 Restaurant

After experiencing this establishment several times, I can confidently say that it will not disappoint. The executive chef, Jean-Sébastien Giguère, takes great pleasure in experimenting with seasonal flavours and presenting them in creative and unexpected dishes. The dining area is quite serene, but the lounge area of h3 will be more lively, especially on New Year’s Eve. If you find yourself on Montréal’s South Shore, Le Coureur des bois, also operated by the same team, is a great option, albeit with reduced hours for the holidays.

However, we were fortunate enough to taste Chef Alexandre Vachon’s culinary creations during an exceptional four-hand dinner at La Maison Boulud, located within the opulent walls of the Ritz-Carlton Montreal. Eating here is an experience. Even though I haven’t had the opportunity to go there myself, many of our acquaintances and friends recommend this restaurant, where the service and food are on another level compared to everything else in the province since 1977 (under a few iterations). It’s no wonder that this establishment is a contender for a Michelin star in the future. If the dining room is full, head over to their lively cocktail bar, Le Vieux Carré, for a different kind of experience. Tanière3 is definitely one of the high-end restaurants to celebrate the holidays.
