The story behind the Bonaventure by Maximiliano Vallée Valletta
So Maximiliano, where does the inspiration for the cocktail come from?
Yes, I did Le Bonaventure, the latter is a cocktail that is a little representative of me. As I drink Old Fashioned all the time, I also like the Negroni and the appetizer is really what I like. What I did was a Vesper twist. Gin and vodka, but aperitivo with an olive. I like what is a little stronger in alcohol, it can be a little like a martini. I made a Vesper twist with the White Keys vodka.

The recipe to succeed the Bonaventure of Maximiliano Vallée Valletta
Ingredients for the cocktail:
- ½ Oz White Keys
- ½ Oz Portage Dry Gin
- 1 Oz Les Îles
- 1 olive
- 1 orange zest
Preparation for the cocktail:
- Pour the 3 alcohols into a glass (we use the one from Alambika) to mix with a large ice cream
- Sweat the ice well enough to cool the cocktail.
(Maximiliano suggests the ice made by Les Marchands, a Quebec-based ice company) - Transfer everything in a glass and decorate with an olive and an orange zest.
- And it’s ready.
To do at home. Enjoy!
