Discovering the Aspire Amex Lounge at YUL Montréal-Trudeau
At the end of summer 2025, Swissport’s hospitality brand, Aspire Executive Lounges, opened its newest lounge at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), in partnership with card issuer American Express. Known as the Aspire Amex Lounge at YUL, this new venue promises a relaxing and refined experience for all travellers.
Where is the Amex Aspire Lounge at YUL located?

The lounge is located in the domestic terminal, between gates 1 and 2, near Starbucks and YUL Pizza. Designed by the architectural firm Artesa, the space features shades of brown, dark blue, and gold, high ceilings, and large windows, creating a bright and welcoming environment that is perfect for relaxing before departure.

This is the first lounge accessible to everyone in the domestic terminal and the first American Express co-branded lounge in Canada. It offers priority access to eligible Amex cardholders and provides unique experiences and activities throughout the year.

The culinary offerings reflect Montréal’s gastronomic excellence, with a distinctive, high-end style. The lounge evokes the intimate and refined atmosphere of a boutique hotel, allowing passengers to enjoy a relaxing moment before their flight.

The lounge is open daily from 5 AM to 9 PM.

The Aspire Amex Lounge welcomes all travellers, regardless of their class or airline. However, your flight must depart from the domestic terminal in order to enjoy the lounge.

What you’ll find at the Amex Aspire Lounge at YUL

The lounge offers two distinct experiences: the “Pick up” section or the “Restaurant.” Only one can be chosen at a time.

The culinary offering includes:

- Specialty coffees : Café Saint-Henri (on site) and Lavazza (pick up)
- Exclusive cocktails by Cloakroom, One of our best bars for gentlemen in Montréal
- Local products: artisanal charcuterie from Édouard et Léo, bagels from St-Viateur, and more
- Drinks and food from local and international partners, including Brasserie Harricana.

The “Restaurant” area (below) can accommodate up to 100 people in its dining room, bar, lounge areas, private booths, and workstations, ensuring comfort and functionality.



Dress code

The lounge favours a chic and relaxed style, allowing travellers to remain comfortable while staying elegant.
Allowed: Smart shorts (Chino Shorts / Cargo Shorts), Sandals, Smart Trainers, Non-Sport Fashion Tracksuits, Hooded Tops, Smart T-Shirts, Jeans etc.

Not allowed: Vest tops for men, Football / Rugby Team Shirts, Clothing with offensive slogans, baseball caps, tour shirts, fancy dress, onesies or ostentatious Christmas jumpers…(well ok, Christmas jumpers are fine)

This lounge may not yet be a space reserved for First Class, but it marks a first step toward transforming YUL into a world-class airport, combining luxury and comfort in the domestic terminal.
