R.T. Custer of Vortic Watch Company – Gentologie On Air S1 – Ep. 1

Gentologie-On-Air---R.T.-Custer---Vortic---Cover

Dear Gentlemen, and ladies (yes we know there are a few around here), welcome to the first episode of the inaugural season of “Gentologie On Air”, a new podcast by Gentologie. For this season starter, we receive Mister Robert Thomas Custer (R.T. Custer for the short form), the CEO of Vortic Watch Company and the newly created, Colorado Watch Company that I met at their factory a few weeks ago in Fort Collins, Colorado.

The story of R.T. Custer

R.T. Custer is an Entrepreneur living in Fort Collins, Colorado with his girlfriend and 2 young sons. He up near Reading, Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University where he studied Industrial Engineering.

With its friend and partner Mister Tyler Wolfe, they launched, 10 years ago in Fort Collins, Colorado, the Vortic Watch Company, which transform old American pocket watches into high-end wristwatches, making it one of the only companies still making watches on US soil.

A few weeks ago, I was there with other media for a tour of their factory, just a couple of days before the successful takeoff of their now-successful kickstarter campaign for their latest project, the Colorado Watch company (The blow their target). The latter consist of a modern, rugged, built-in USA automatic watch sold under 1,000 US dollars. If you’re a watch lover and a business aficionado, you will enjoy this interview with Mister R.T. Custer.

Find R.T Custer on Instagram and on his website. To learn more about Vortic Watch Company, you can see our article here, and we also have one on Colorado Watch Company.
