romeo’s view: Mixing Art & Business at Pandore

It is the terrace of PANDORE, in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles, which held the media launch of  romeo’s view parties last Monday. These parties were launched earlier in the summer to test the concept that involves the making of a Signature cocktail of  romeo’s gin based on the the artist by the mixologist of the PANDORE, Shawn Fabre.

For the edition of last Monday, it was the entrepreneur (and founder of PUR VODKA and romeo’s gin), Nicolas Duvernois who hosted the soirée with the painter and illustrator artist, Sandra Chevrier. The latter having great success with her series of works “The superhero cages” inspired by characters from Marvel Comics and DC Comics.

The concept behind romeo’s view

The romeo’s view parties are the brainchild of the team behind Quebec’s romeo’s gin spirit, in order to set in, foreground emerging Montreal artists while democratizing visual art. Each week, the romeo’s view event honors a different artist, not only exposing his creations on the walls of PANDORE, but by concocting him (or her) a cocktail in his image.

This concept is intended to be very simple, every Monday night at PANDORE, an evening where several bars are closed in Montréal, a result of business personality presents an artist close to his heart in a more lively evening, all to the sound of DJ Donald Lauture.

During these parties, you will enjoy discovering artists uncommon talent and also enjoy a different Signature Cocktail each week, created and thought based on the artist and the various works to be exhibited. As mentioned above, the cocktails are a signature of the PANDORE Mixologist Shawn Fabre. In addition to the Signature Cocktail, an exclusive cocktail card is also available at these evenings in addition to a menu prepared for the occasion by Executive Chef Simon Mathys of the restaurant “Accords le bistro>, located on the 1st floor of the complex 2-22, the place where the PANDORE is also located at the corner of St. Catherine Street and Saint-Laurent boulevard.
