A card game with James Bond, Theory 11 and Bollinger
While the Issue 6 of Gentologie magazine is now online, it was time to celebrate. The Sélections Oeno team having graciously offered us a bottle of the special edition 007 of Champagne Bollinger, we had to card game with James Bond, the 007 edition of Theory 11. Here are some pictures.
A Special cuvé for the new James Bond “No Time To Die”
While the new James Bond film is delayed again, you can still enjoy his legendary champagne, the Bollinger Special Cuvée 007. To celebrate more than 40 years of friendship between James Bond and Bollinger, the official champagne of 007, as well as the release of the 25th opus of the franchise, No Time To Die, Bollinger launches a limited edition gift box which brings together three icons: the signature champagne of the Bollinger house, the Special Cuvée, the Aston Martin DB5 and the legendary British secret agent James Bond.
Here are some questions you will probably have about the latter:
Is there a difference between Bollinger Special Cuvée 007 and Bollinger Special Cuvée?
The Bollinger Special Cuvée 007 contains the same champagne as the Bollinger Special Cuvée, the packaging is different and comes with the James Bond case. It is available at the same price as the Bollinger Special Cuvée, either $86.00 in SAQ or $91.95 in LCBO.
Where can I get the Bollinger Special Cuvée 007?
Since this is a limited edition, it is available in some SAQ’s and LCBO’s. Call the wine specialist at those branches to confirm its availability. Nevertheless, if you cannot find it, do not worry, the Bollinger Special Cuvée will be perfect.
La Grande Année 2012, named in the Top 10 of Wine Spectator, will soon arrive in SAQ. Thank you to the Sélections OENO team for providing us a bottle of Bollinger Special Cuvée 007, our tasting is coming soon.
