Hendrick’s Gin ELEVATUM at Festival International de Jazz de Montréal

You are probably wondering what Hendrick’s Gin Elevatum is, well you can certainly guess with the picture at the top of the article. Well yes, as part of its sponsorship of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, Hendrick’s Gin sends you a balloon ride! You want to win your ticket, I explain how down (you must love the Gin).

With the awesome heights of Hendrick’s Gin’s ELEVATUM on a soundtrack of C.O.R.G.A.N., you’ll see an unusual show in Montreal

Always inclined towards things that are out of the ordinary (you must have had a Hendrick’s party to find out about it Thanks Invasion Cocktail for that), Hendrick’s Gin pushes once again the limits of the bizarre, combining music, show, jazz, gin and weft sound with a balloon flight. For the first time in the history of the Montreal International Jazz Festival, it will take off and mark its presence in the streets with a cucumber-shaped organ, the unique CORGAN, which provides the soundtrack for this show extraordinary.

The strange is coming to Montreal

“Hendrick’s Gin is the foremost provider of all things strange,” says Beth-Anne Perry, Hendrick’s Gin’s first national Brand Manager. The E.L.E.V.A.T.U.M. and C.O.R.G.A.N. embody the unusual character of our brand. We are eager to reveal simultaneous shows to the world. In the Quartier des spectacles for the first two days of the FIJM, E.L.E.V.A.T.U.M. (Elevating, Levitating, Exceptionally, Voluminous, Amazingly, Towering, Uplifting, Mobile), a 19.8 m hot air balloon, will take the holders of a gold ticket to a height of 44 1/4 cucumbers, where will reveal in the skies of Montreal a wonderful world of cucumbers and roses.

C.O.R.G.A.N. (Cucumber Organ of Remarkably Glorious Auditory Nirvana), designed in a style reminiscent of the Victorian era, but with a twist quite to the taste of Hendrick’s Gin, has touches made of real cucumbers. He will accompany E.L.E.V.A.T.U.M. by providing him with an unusual soundtrack.

“When Hendrick’s Gin gets involved, the unusual is still in place,” said Alvin P. Ramchurn, probably the best representative of the brand Hendrick’s, Hendrick’s Gin national brand ambassador. We pushed the boundaries to present a simultaneous show in the sky and in the street, like Hendrick’s Gin: whimsical and wonderful. ”

The two wonders can be seen at the Hendrick’s Gin VIP Lounge. This is where guests and guests with an enchanted gold ticket will have privileged access to Hendrick’s music, entertainment and smaller gin-tonics. All served in small cups of tea filled with mini-cucumbers.

Hendrick’s Gin’s ELEVATUM will take off for good after its quirky two-day appearance. The Hendrick’s Gin Jazz Cucumber Organ will stay at the festival for another eight days.

Bearing the name of C.O.R.G.A.N. (Cucumber Organ of Remarkably Glorious Auditory Nirvana in English) is a unique instrument. It features touches made of real whole cucumbers that produce, to the touch, distinct jazz tones. Thanks to him, music lovers will experience a very unusual hearing experience. The Hendrick’s Gin Jazz Cucumber Organ will be presented exclusively as part of the festival for 10 days.

“C.O.R.G.A.N. is another whimsical element we’ve created in our relentless pursuit of the unusual, “says Beth-Anne Perry, Hendrick’s Gin’s first national brand director. We look forward to amaze the global jazz community with the launch of C.O.R.G.A.N. Hendricks’ jazz.

The C.O.R.G.A.N. Debut

The cucumber organ was designed in a style reminiscent of the Victorian era, but with a whimsical twist to Hendrick’s Gin. The organ will make its world debut in Montreal on June 28. It will be located next to the balloon E.L.E.V.A.T.U.M. from Hendrick’s to the Quartier des spectacles.

“We are absolutely excited about this new collaboration, and we hope it marks the beginning of a long adventure with Hendrick’s,” said Jacques-André Dupont, President and CEO of the festival. What’s better than a perfect alliance between Hendrick’s Gin and jazz to revive the atmosphere of the secret cabarets of the 40’s? Festival-goers will have the opportunity to admire the Place des Festivals and all that it puts on board the Hendrick’s hot air balloon specially chartered for the occasion.

C.O.R.G.A.N. can be seen at the Hendrick’s Gin VIP Lounge on Thursday, June 28 and Friday, June 29, 2018.
