Ritz Royale at the Ritz-Carlton Montréal: The F1 evening not to be missed

With summer fast approaching, the warm season in Montréal kicks off with the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix du Canada. During the off-race festivities, there are a number of parties, each more sumptuous than the last. For some years now, the flagship and most popular of these events has been the Friday evening celebration at the Ritz-Carlton Montréal. This year it’s called Le Ritz Royale, and we’ve already got some details for you on it and how to get tickets.

And yes, after becoming the title sponsor of the VISA CashApp Racing Bulls Formula 1 team (the team for which the driver of its sister team, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Liam Lawson, became a driver again in “exchange” for Yuki Tsunoda), VISA, the second-largest purchasing network on the planet, according to RBR(Retail Banking Research, is the new partner of the Le Ritz Royale evening.

Ritz Royale: What to expect this soirée

Although the evening’s programme has not yet been officially unveiled, I did my secret agent thing (James Bond is never far away) and came up with a few bits of information. It’s likely to be an event inspired, if my hunch is right, by Casino Royale, judging by the title and the chic allure of the evening. After Havana and the ’50s, the Ritz Royale will undoubtedly be a chic and exclusive evening. In short, gentlemen and James Bond fans, I’m sure you won’t be outdone by your dinner jackets (by the way, read our article on how to order yours now), as they are compulsory to attend.

The most prestigious event of this weekend and probably of the summer (and often at maximum capacity) returns as VISA presents Ritz Royale by Mercedes-Benz Canada (it was thanks to them that we met Lewis Hamilton, now a Ferrari driver, at the Ritz-Carlton), in collaboration with the National Bank of Canada and BFL Canada. Set in the idyllic surroundings of Montréal’s Ritz-Carlton, this exclusive event, to be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, promises to be an unrivalled evening of indulgence, where luxury meets the undeniable energy of the Formula 1 weekend.

The Ritz Royale will become the place to be for the world’s elite and car enthusiasts during the Formula 1 Grand Prix celebrations.
