This limited collection comes to life thanks to the Festive Odyssey campaign. Inspired by the legendary art of travel and Belmond’s train journeys around the world, the “Nespresso’s unforgettable journeys” campaign will visually transport you, dear coffee-loving gentlemen, on an enchanting quest, seeking to awaken your senses with new flavours influenced by the discovery of the world.

New gourmet coffees by Nespresso and Jean Imbert

As is its tradition, the Swiss coffee brand welcomes the festive season with new limited-edition coffees designed to create unforgettable memories, calling on Michelin-starred chef Jean Imbert to create an exceptional sensory experience. The French chef now puts his culinary expertise at the service of Nespresso coffees and sweets, following a number of luxury projects around the world, including his appointment as Chef of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express (reviewed here for Veuve Clicquot). He had already taken part in the Paris coffee campaign, and was the chef at an event for the arrival of compostable capsules in France.

Unforgettable Espresso and Unforgettable Double Espresso Coffees

The Unforgettable Espresso and Double Espresso evoke long train journeys through Latin America: the aromatic blend of Arabica from Peru and Costa Rica enhanced by Robusta, the coffee offers notes of roasted cereals and wood. This coffee uses the fractional roasting technique to create intensity and complexity.

The first fraction consists exclusively of arabicas and is lighter, while the second is a blend of arabicas and robustas and is darker roasted to develop body and roast. The Original capsule version is slightly darker than its Vertuo counterpart. Enjoy it black or in the form of a delicious Latte Macchiato in Original capsule or a Double Cappuccino in Vertuo capsule for a luxurious taste experience.

Almond Croissant Flavour Coffee

Based on an original idea by Jean Imbert, Almond Croissant Flavour will transport you to the heart of the French capital, Paris, for a more than memorable holiday season aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express to Italy, for example, where the next café will take us.

This limited-edition flavoured coffee releases notes of almond and buttery pastry, evoking childhood memories for the Chef. Enjoy it like a cappuccino, and let the almond notes release.

Peanut & Roasted Sesame Flavour Coffee

The third café, Peanut & Roasted Sesame Flavour , is a tribute to the gastronomic travels of the Plaza Athénée chef.

As its name suggests, this coffee aroma combines notes of toasted sesame, popcorn and mixed nuts to create a warm, essential drink for the festive season.

Exquisite limited edition chocolates by Nespresso and Jean Imbert

A new limited-edition box of delicious chocolates has been created in collaboration with chef Jean Imbert as a luxurious gift for the festive season. With carefully selected, Rainforest Alliance-certified cocoa beans from the Congo, this delicacy is composed of 70% round, intense dark chocolate with caramelized hazelnuts. Jean Imbert drew inspiration from his grandmother’s cooking to develop the gourmet flavours of this new offering. What could be better than a cup of coffee and a chocolate by the fire as the snow falls?

Nespresso also introduces two new permanent cookies to complete its gourmet range. Nespresso has designed these travel-inspired delights to capture the essence of two iconic destinations: New York and Edinburgh. Also, the lemon shortbread, meanwhile, is a crumbly, buttery delight infused with refreshing lemon zest, capturing the essence of Edinburgh’s historic charm.
