Pour It Forward by Stella Artois - cover

You may find us a little repetitive in this post about the “Pour it forward” initiative, a continuation of the partnership between Stella Artois and Water.org that we told you about in  and already. On the other hand, what one takes a little less into account, and I realized it while preparing this article, is that it could not have been done without water.

As Stella Artois and Water.org urge Canadians to support the “Pour It Forward” initiative to help end the global water crisis, which affects nearly $ 1 billion People around the world, Water.org co-founder Matt Damon challenges celebrities around the world to spread the word and calls on all Canadians to join the movement.

Together, we have already helped change millions of lives, but we have the ability to help many more people, “said Matt Damon, co-founder of Water.org. “That’s why we’re asking people around the world to rise to the challenge and help end this global problem. ”

Impossible to write this article without water. For real.

So as today is March 22, I wrote this article and published it. Since our servers are in Quebec and the majority of electricity comes from a hydro-electric source, without water, our servers do not work. Without water, the different parts of my Mac and my iPhone can not be manufactured. Without water, no salad from Quebec, no tomatoes in a greenhouse in Quebec, no Bergeron cheese, no organic ham and above all, no Stella Artois, either content or container

But did you know that you, dear Canadians, can use your purchasing power to help end the global water crisis? In three ways:

  • New limited edition glassesThe three limited edition glasses highlight the countries where Water.org is supporting in 2019, namely Mexico, Peru and Tanzania.
    • Purchasing a limited-edition glass from LCBO stores in Ontario or online elsewhere in the country can provide one person with drinking water for five years in a developing country. Designed by watercolor artist Eili-Kaija Kuusniemi, the limited-edition lenses feature a blue version of Stella Artois’ iconic logo to underline the brand’s commitment to the cause.
  • Limited edition bottle cases in stores
    • For the month of In March, the purchase of a box of six or twelve specially marked Stella Artois bottles in selected stores across Canada will provide 6 to 12 months of drinking water to a resident of a developing country.

Want to learn more about the “Pour It Forward” movement and discover other ways to participate, visit Stella Artois. Buy a Stella Artois glass, give water and change lives!

Thanks to Stella Artois for sending us the glass and the beer.
