A harmonious blend of white peach, apricot, ripe yellow apple and floral honeysuckle flavours, full-bodied and energetic, with great fullness and length. A perfect wine for cooler evenings! Rediscover Canadian wines with a bright rosé from the Niagara Peninsula. A delight of flavours of red cherry, strawberries, black berry, wild apples, watermelon, pomegranate; it is slightly smoky and has that character of good Canadian wines. It is medium-bodied with a delicate bitterness on the finish. It is also certified as a sustainable wine. A perfect match for grilled vegetable pizza, beef kebabs, smoked or gravlax salmon or trout. Generous!

Masi Costasera Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2016

A change of scenery while strolling through the Veneto region, mission accomplished with this magnificent Amarone, from a prestigious Italian DOCG appellation in which appassimento is at the heart of the winemaking process. After drying for a few weeks on trellises or racks, the grapes are placed in oak tuns for a fermentation of about 40-50 days. The wine will then spend a few months to a few years in oak barrels. The result is an oratorio of slightly kirschy cherry, blackberry, even berry jelly, fig, plum, cocoa, cigar box, and tertiary aromas including dead leaves, damp earth, mushrooms; it’s unctuous, rich, dense, and long in the mouth. It calls for a grilled tomahawk, grilled vegetables! A wine for lovers of Northern Italy, it is a dream come true. Heady!
