Olive + Gourmando at Royalmount

A new addition to the brand new Royalmount is the second location of Olive + Gourmando. The Atelier Zébulon Perron has added its signature design touch, while the warmth and exceptional service of its little brother in Old Montreal have already made this new place a benchmark. A new joint watchmaking experience by Richemont and Maison Birks in the Montréal area. This boutique, the brand’s 50th, located in Royalmount, offers a refreshingly different experience in the usually private and exclusive world of watches. The Best of Gentleman – October 2024 – Travel

Hôtel Le Germain Montréal

As part of the Presidents Cup, our editor-in-chief was lucky enough to stay at the enchanting Hôtel Le Germain Montréal. The enchanting new decor of this icon of the metropolis is simply magnificent. You won’t want to get out of bed because it’s so comfortable, not to mention the bathroom, where everything is perfectly placed, with a local touch thanks to its decoration in homage to Expo 67 and the Montréal Canadiens. If you fancy a Martini, head down to the Le Flâneur bar for an excellent Martini and freshly opened oysters, or opt for Le Boulevardier for an intimate dinner. We’ll be back soon with a fuller summary of our experience.

The few days we spent with Genesis weren’t all fun and games; we also had to work. This golf course certainly wasn’t the easiest for our editor, but the beauty of the terrain and the incredible weather made the experience a success. A place to visit.

Final of The Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup

The winner of the America’s Cup will probably be decided this Saturday. Defending champion Emirates Team New Zealand leads 6-2 over Ineos Britannia and the winner has to make it 7 wins. But you never know what might happen. See you tomorrow, Saturday, October 19, at 8 a.m. (Montréal time) or 2 p.m. (Barcelona time).

During our stay with Genesis for the Presidents Cup, we had the chance to drive the brand new SUV from the South Korean luxury brand, the GV80 Coupé. A little sportier than the regular version, this one, with its innovative design, whether we’re thinking of its double-crossed grille, its Bang & Olufsen top-of-the-range audio system, the innovative positioning of the rear seats and above all its 3.5 L twin-turbo V6 engine with 48 V electric supercharger that can develop a maximum power of 409 hp and an impressive maximum torque of 405 lb-ft at a low 1,300 rpm, you’ll be amazed like us.
